An A3 guillotine's cut length varies between
46 cm and 55cm but this depends entirely on the make and model
of paper cutter you invest in. At the lower end of the spectrum,
basic A3 desktop guillotines and rotary trimmers will gladly slice
through paper stacks of 1 to 3 mm in thickness with ease and precision.
If you are looking for a cutter to slice through larger amounts
of paper then a heavy duty A3 guillotine is the answer. You will
find these are designed to make light work of stacks as thick
as 8cm , although some considerable force will be needed to manoeuvre
the blade. If you see this causing a potential problem in the
office then you might want to consider investing in a A3 electric
guillotine sometimes referred to as a powered guillotine.
